... and this was exactly my problem too but the offender was Photoshop Elements. Affects Outlook too by the way! Thanks for the tip.

Wow! I went and bought a whole new keyboard and everything! Wish I had searched this before! I feel like an idiot now...but really, who would have guessed in was Photoshop?
