Compiling bzip2 on OS X 10.1.5

You must have the Developer Tools CD installed

1. Download: ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/bzip2/v102/bzip2-1.0.2.tar.gz
2. cd to download location
3. tar -xvf bzip2-1.0.2.tar.gz
4. vi Makefile
5. Change line:
CC=gcc

to

CC=cc

6. exit vi
7. make install (to place binaries in /usr/bin, /usr/man, etc.. )
